Which platforms can I combine?

Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, and Discord — in any combination, all in a single overlay.

Is TikTok LIVE chat reliable?

Yes. All-Chat runs TikTok LIVE chat against a 99.9% availability target, the same as every other platform, even though TikTok has no public API for LIVE chat. All-Chat reads chat the way TikTok's own web player does, signs those connections with its own open-source signing service, with no third-party sign server involved, and gives premium rooms a second delivery path when the main connection is refused. TikTok is still the least stable of the platforms: when TikTok changes its web player, short interruptions can happen.

How do I add All-Chat to OBS?

Create an overlay, add your chat sources, then paste the overlay URL into an OBS Browser Source. No plugins or bots required.

Can I dock the chat inside OBS?

Yes. The chat monitor runs as an OBS dock beside your mixer, a readable view for you rather than something your viewers see. In the overlay editor, click Copy dock URL to copy https://allch.at/overlay/<overlay-id>/view?dock=1. In OBS, open View > Docks > Custom Browser Docks, name the dock, paste the link and click Apply. The dock asks you to sign in once. Streamlabs Desktop takes the same link.

Can I run more than one overlay?

Yes. One account can create several overlays, each with its own mix of chat sources, its own theme and its own OBS URL. For example, one overlay for Twitch and TikTok on a gaming stream and a YouTube-only one for a podcast.

Is All-Chat free?

Yes. All-Chat is free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 license.

Why are some features premium?

Premium covers what costs real money or scarce quota to run, plus a few power-user extras: text-to-speech streams audio to your overlay, which is far more expensive to deliver than regular chat messages; YouTube moderation actions and poll announcements posted to chat consume strictly limited platform quotas; YouTube stream selection is an advanced option very few channels need; shared chat is gated to prevent abuse; and viewer flairs are cosmetic perks for supporters. Premium is funded through Patreon and keeps All-Chat running for everyone.

Which emotes are supported?

7TV, BTTV, and FFZ, alongside native Twitch and YouTube emotes — they all render correctly in your overlay.

Can I customize how the overlay looks?

Yes. Choose from 16 built-in themes or write your own CSS for full control over fonts, colors, and layout.

Does All-Chat track my viewers or use cookies?

No. Usage analytics are cookieless and self-hosted, and chat messages are automatically deleted after about an hour.

Is there a browser extension?

Yes. The All-Chat browser extension replaces native Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chat so your viewers can follow along across platforms.
